A number of faculty members from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated as lecturers in the Asian Coaching Course (A), which was held under the supervision of the Iraqi Football Association, with the participation of a group of coaches and sports practitioners.
The participation included Prof. Alaa Mohsen Yasser (player movement biomechanics), Prof. Mohammed Jawad Kazem (energy systems), Prof. Shirzad Mohammed Jaro (GPS systems), Prof. Ali Saad Abdulhamid (match analysis programs), and Prof. Ahmed Dhari Hani (sports psychology). Their lectures contributed to developing the technical and cognitive levels of the coaches enrolled in the course.
This participation comes within the framework of the college’s commitment to strengthening its scientific presence at the local and continental levels and supporting academic competencies, in a way that positively reflects on the educational and research process.
In conclusion, the organizing body praised the distinguished scientific role played by the college’s faculty members, emphasizing the importance of academic cooperation in advancing the sports sector.
