The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis by student Alaa Taha Ahmed, titled “The Effect of Psycho-Motor Exercises on Some Perceptual Skills and the Accuracy of Serve Reception and Spiking in Volleyball for Ages 15–17.”
The research highlights the lack of focus on psychological aspects in training programs, particularly perceptual skills like visual tracking and visual interference. It aims to examine the effect of psycho-motor drills on enhancing these perceptions and the accuracy of technical volleyball skills.
The study recommends integrating psycho-motor training into youth volleyball programs to develop perceptual and technical performance.
