A PhD dissertation was presented at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad by the candidate Muqdad Mohsen Khalaf, titled “The Effect of Special Exercises Using a Multi-Net Device on Enhancing Attention Focus, Response Speed, and Technical Performance Accuracy of Selected Skills in Table Tennis for Juniors.”

The significance of the study lies in the use of an innovative and originally designed device that supports the study variables and contributes a new dimension to table tennis research. The research problem addressed a noticeable weakness among junior table tennis players in attention focus, response speed, and technical accuracy in performing essential skills such as forehand, backhand, and serving.
The researcher aimed to:
•Design a proposed device to improve attention focus, response speed, and technical performance accuracy for junior table tennis players.
•Develop specialized exercises using the proposed device to enhance motor performance of basic table tennis skills.
•Investigate the effect of these exercises on improving attention, response time, technical accuracy, and motor performance.
The findings concluded that the newly designed multi-net device is effective in improving the technical performance of junior table tennis players. The specialized exercises using the device had a positive impact on enhancing attention focus, response speed, and accuracy in serving, forehand, and backhand strokes.
This research aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 Quality Education and Goal 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by integrating innovative training methods and technological tools to enhance athletic development and support scientific advancement in youth sports training.
