A doctoral dissertation titled “Administrative Values and their Role in the Efficiency of Sports Activities Performance from the Perspective of Administrative Leaders in Baghdad University Formations” was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad by the student Zaid Abduljabbar Shahbaz, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Zaidoun Jawad Mohammed Judi. The study aimed to understand how administrative values affect sports activities performance from the perspective of university leaders in Baghdad University formations. The researcher focused on understanding the reality of administrative values and the efficiency of sports activities performance for departments and units of student activities, as well as identifying the relationship between the scale of administrative values and the efficiency of sports activities among departments and units of student activities in Baghdad University formations from the perspective of university leaders. This research is of significance in the pursuit of sustainable development objectives, particularly in enhancing the outcomes of university sports management while optimising human resources and vital facilities.
The study employed descriptive methodology with correlational relationships, with a deliberately selected sample constituting (100%) of administrative leaders involved in sports activities across Baghdad University formations. The sample included the heads and members of college councils, branch/department coordinators, and officials responsible for quality assurance and continuous education, totaling (471) individuals distributed among (24) administrative staff from various departments. They were then divided into three samples (exploratory, construction, and application). After completing the construction steps with field procedures and statistical treatments, the opinions of the specified application sample of (251) individuals were surveyed from Sunday, May 14, 2023, to Thursday, June 22, 2023, for data processing using SPSS system. The findings showed that the scales of administrative values for sports activities and the efficiency of sports activities performance are suitable for measuring the perspective of administrative leaders in Baghdad University formations regarding departments and units of student activities and meet the scientific criteria and conditions for acceptance in sports management.
