The importance of the study lies in shedding the light on modern teaching styles as well as including problem solving and initiative style in teaching sessions that motivate students and change their attitudes to positive development of performance and accuracy of fundamental volleyball skills. The study aimed at designing exercises using problem solving and initiative style according to positive motivation on the performance and accuracy of volleyball fundamental skills for preparatory school students as well as identifying the effect of both styles on the study subjects.  The researcher hypothesized positive effect of each style according to positive motivation on performance and accuracy of fundamental volleyball skills in preparatory school students as well as differences in experimental groups according to positive motivation on performance and accuracy of fundamental volleyball skills in preparatory school students in favor of the experimental groups. The researcher used the experimental method on preparatory school students of the academic year 2022 – 2023. The subjects were (198) students selected randomly and (36) fifth grade students were selected and divided six sections. The teaching program consisted of (18) teaching units. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that both styles have a positive effect on performance and accuracy of fundamental volleyball skills in preparatory school students. Furthermore, problem solving style according to positive motivation has the best effect on developing the performance and accuracy of fundamental volleyball skills in preparatory school students. Finally the researcher recommended encouraging physical educators to use problem solving style according to positive motivation in schools due to their effective and positive role in learning volleyball fundamental skills. In addition to that, he recommended making similar studies and researches using problem solving and tackling other variables not studied in this study and comparing the results with the current study
