A faculty member from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Hasnaa Sattar Jabbar, delivered a scientific seminar at the University of Samarra entitled “Using the Artificial Intelligence Program OnForm in Movement Analysis.”
During the seminar, the speaker highlighted the importance of employing artificial intelligence technologies in the field of movement analysis, explaining that the OnForm program is considered one of the modern tools that enhances the accuracy of movement assessment for athletes and students by analyzing video footage and automatically identifying movement errors.
She also presented the practical mechanism of using the program, including data input methods and the possibility of comparing performance before and after training, supported by applied examples demonstrating the program’s role in improving both educational and training processes.
The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members and students who engaged in discussions on integrating such programs into academic curricula and developing practical analysis skills. The seminar concluded with an emphasis on the necessity of adopting modern technologies in physical education and sports sciences to keep pace with global scientific advancements, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals related to Quality Education, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Partnerships for the Goals.
