he Theoretical Sciences Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Informatics and Cybersecurity in the Current Virtual World” as part of its scientific activities plan. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ban Omid Rashid, with the participation of Lecturer Rasha Abdul Hussein Ali, Assistant Lecturer Shireen Abdul Munim, and Assistant Lecturer Abeer Talib.
The workshop highlighted information security concepts, methods of protecting online data from cyberattacks and hacking, as well as protection programs against hackers and viruses. It also addressed essential ways to maintain Android phone security.
The speakers emphasized the importance of raising digital awareness and strengthening technical skills to keep pace with rapid technological developments.
