The Arab Handball Federation has appointed faculty members from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad to serve on its committees. Prof. Dr. Raad Khanjar Hamdan was appointed as a member of the Coaches Committee, while Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khamis was appointed as a member of the Development and Planning Committee. The appointments recognize their academic expertise and professional experience in handball and reflect the distinguished presence of Iraqi sports specialists in Arab sporting forums.
The appointments reaffirm the specialized expertise and scientific and technical contributions of the College’s faculty members to the development of handball, as well as their participation in various local and international sporting events and championships.
The Deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences stated that the appointment of its faculty members to the Arab Handball Federation’s committees is a source of pride for the College and reflects the academic and professional standing of its teaching staff. The Deanship wished them success in their new responsibilities and expressed its hope that they would make an effective contribution to serving and developing handball at the Arab level.
