Prof. Haider Faiq Al-Shamma, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad, participated in a specialized workshop on Athletics Officiating Rules, hosted by the College of Arts.
The workshop focused on the latest updates in athletics officiating regulations and aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge in sports officiating, contributing to the improvement of refereeing performance and the development of sports competitions.
The event included both theoretical and practical sessions covering officiating mechanisms and key refereeing cases in athletics events, with the attendance of academics and sports specialists.
