The Iraq Universities Athletics Championship concluded at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad, with the participation of 65 public and private Iraqi universities. The event was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs and the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf.
The championship featured strong competition across various athletics events, including sprinting, jumping, and throwing, reflecting high technical standards and sportsmanship among participants.
University of Baghdad achieved outstanding results by securing advanced positions, highlighting the progress of its sports teams and the efforts of the coaching staff.
The University President, Prof. Alaa Abdul Hassan Atiyah, expressed pride in this achievement, praising the athletes’ performance and reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting sports activities and developing young talents.
