As part of its ongoing efforts to expand academic cooperation, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad signed a scientific cooperation agreement with Al-Ameen University on March 17, 2026. The agreement aims to strengthen academic partnerships and promote the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and Dr. Majeed Jabbar Mohsen, Assistant President of Al-Ameen University for Administrative Affairs, along with members of the College Council and representatives from Al-Ameen University, including the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
The agreement covers several areas of collaboration, including curriculum development, exchange of research expertise, organization of joint scientific activities such as conferences and workshops, and support for sports events and student activities.
Both parties emphasized that this step represents an important move toward enhancing academic integration and keeping pace with modern developments in sports sciences, which will positively impact the quality of education and scientific research.
This agreement aligns with the strategic direction of both institutions to foster effective academic partnerships and build collaborative relationships that contribute to advancing academic and research standards.
