Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Hamid Kazar, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Head of the Women Empowerment Unit, University of Baghdad, participated in organizing a scientific seminar entitled “Women and Labor Market Challenges.” The seminar was hosted by the Center for Continuing Education in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The seminar addressed the major challenges facing women in the labor market and explored effective strategies for empowering them and strengthening their roles across various professional and academic fields. It also highlighted the importance of creating supportive work environments and encouraging women’s active participation in societal development.
The event was attended by a number of faculty members, researchers, and students, where discussions and exchanges of ideas focused on practical solutions to support women and enhance their capacity to overcome professional challenges.
This participation reflects the college’s commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women as a key component of sustainable development.
