The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad concluded the Faculty Tennis Championship, which witnessed active participation from a distinguished group of faculty members, in an atmosphere marked by enthusiasm and positive competitive spirit.
The championship results saw the duo Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf and Prof. Mohammed Hassan Hleil securing first place, while the duo Prof. Firas Mutasher Abdulredha and Prof. Khulood Laith achieved second place, following strong matches that reflected a high level of technical performance and physical fitness.
This championship was organized as part of the college’s commitment to promoting sports culture among faculty members, encouraging regular physical activity, and strengthening cooperation and social ties within the university environment.
At the conclusion of the event, the winning teams were honored and appreciation awards were distributed, amid wide praise from attendees for the excellent organization and the importance of holding such activities, which contribute to supporting sports engagement and enhancing the physical and psychological well-being of faculty members.
