he Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, received the University of Baghdad athletics team in recognition of their outstanding achievement at the Fifth Annual Athletics Meeting, hosted by the University of Hilla, where the team secured first place in the women’s category and second place in the men’s category.
During the meeting, the Dean extended his warm congratulations to the team members, expressing pride in the results achieved, which reflect the students’ dedication, perseverance, and high level of commitment. He also praised the significant efforts of the technical and administrative staff in preparing the team and contributing to this success.
The Dean reaffirmed the College’s commitment to supporting sports activities and advancing university athletics, highlighting their role in promoting teamwork, developing students’ skills, and enhancing the overall university sports environment.
