Ali Abdullah Fayadh, a student from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, earned second place in the West Asia Archery Championship held in Doha, Qatar, after participating as a coach for the national team.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, expressed his pride in this notable achievement, emphasizing that the success reflects the high level of competence and skill demonstrated by the college’s students, as well as their ability to represent the university honorably in regional and international events. He also praised the efforts made by the student and the coaching staff in preparation and competition.
This accomplishment comes as part of the ongoing series of successes achieved by the college’s students across various sports activities, supported by the university’s programs aimed at developing talents and enhancing participation in student events and external championships.
