Prof. Faleh Hashem Finjan, Head of the Theoretical Sciences Department at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, delivered a scientific theoretical lecture within the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) “B” Coaching Course, organized by the Iraqi Football Association.
The lecture addressed the challenges coaches face in structuring training load components according to players’ capabilities, as well as the mechanisms of controlled increases in intensity and volume. It also discussed modern training methods based on target weight, target repetitions, and target duration.
This participation reflects the college’s continuous efforts to enhance its academic presence at the international level and to promote the exchange of expertise with sports institutions across various fields, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3: Good Health and Well-being and 4: Quality Education.
