Dr. Wisam Najib Asliwah, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated in a workshop organized by the Iraqi Football Association and held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The workshop, titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Sports Analysis and Training”, was attended by coaches, analysts, directors of specialized centers, and trainers from the Ministry. The lecture addressed the growing role of artificial intelligence in modern sports, particularly in data analysis and the creation of accurate information databases, where coaches play a key role in providing precise input.
The workshop aimed to enhance the accuracy of sports performance analysis, identify strengths and weaknesses, prevent injuries, improve tactical planning, provide immediate feedback, and support better decision-making.
