The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, participated as the chair of the PhD dissertation defense at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women. The dissertation, submitted by student Zainab Sattar Sahen, was titled “The Effect of Training with a Designed Device on Developing Motor Response Speed and the Accuracy of Passing and Shooting Skills in Youth Mini-Football (Soka) Players.”
This participation came within the framework of academic collaboration and knowledge exchange among colleges of physical education.
During the defense, the Dean commended the high level of the presented research, emphasizing the importance of the topic addressed by the student and appreciating the efforts exerted in preparing the dissertation.
This engagement supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 Quality Education and Goal 17 Partnerships for the Goals, by enhancing academic cooperation and promoting research excellence.
