The significance of the study lies in its focus on rehabilitation exercises for athletes suffering from a partial tear of the anterior deltoid shoulder muscle. The rehabilitation program lasted for two months and included 24 individual sessions, conducted at a frequency of three sessions per week. Each session lasted between 30 to 40 minutes.
Following the main experiment, the researcher conducted post-tests and used statistical software to analyze the data. The results showed that rehabilitation exercises accompanied by nutritional supplements had a positive effect on the recovery process, helping the injured muscle return to a near-normal state and enabling the athletes to resume training.
The aim of the research was to design a rehabilitation program for the treatment of medium-grade partial tears in the anterior deltoid muscle of bodybuilders and to investigate the effectiveness of combining rehabilitation exercises with nutritional supplements. The researcher hypothesized that there would be statistically significant differences between pre- and post-measurements in favor of the post-tests regarding muscle strength and range of motion among the study sample.
This research contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4 Quality Education, and Goal 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by providing innovative solutions in the sports field that enhance physical health and athletic performance among professional athletes.
