Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the Department of Theoretical Sciences, in collaboration with the Postgraduate Studies Division, held a seminar to conclude the English language course for postgraduate (Master’s) students, titled “Iraqi Olympic and Paralympic Sports Achievements: Reality and Aspirations,” under the slogan “Outstanding Sports Achievement.”
The seminar aimed to highlight a distinguished group of the college’s professors who have achieved notable success in various sports, whether as athletes, coaches, or referees, at the local, Arab, international, Asian, and Olympic levels.
It also shed light on the achievements of outstanding figures in Paralympic sports across all levels—local, Arab, Asian, and international. At the end of the seminar, shields and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participating professors and students.
