The FIFA International Course for Football Referee Instructors officially commenced at the fields of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, University of Baghdad, in the presence of the College Dean, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and Mr. Hani Ballan, Deputy Chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee.
The course brings together 33 instructors from various Asian countries and is overseen by a distinguished group of international experts. Hosting this course in Iraq represents a significant achievement in efforts to enhance the qualifications and performance of referees participating in the Iraqi football league.
