Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Baghdad, participated in the opening ceremony of the FIFA International Course for Football Referee Instructors held in Baghdad. The event was attended by the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Captain Adnan Dirjal, along with Dr. Wissam Najib Asliwah, Director of Coach Education and Development at the Iraqi Football Association, and Mr. Hani Ballan, Deputy Chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee.
The course hosts 33 instructors from various Asian countries and is supervised by a team of elite international lecturers. Hosting this FIFA course in Iraq marks a significant step forward in enhancing the skills and performance of football referees in the Iraqi league.
