Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and under the direct supervision of the Higher Committee for Graduation Project Discussions chaired by Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College, along with the esteemed members of the College Council, the conference for discussing the graduation projects of fourth-year students for the academic year 2024–2025 was held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The conference was supervised by the Department of Team Sports and was conducted in an exemplary academic atmosphere.
More than 407 students participated in the conference, distributed across 42 discussion committees, with the attendance of 126 faculty members.
The discussions came after months of research and collaboration between students and their supervising professors, as part of the requirements for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The conference was attended by Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College; Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Hussein Atiya, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Dr. Thamer Hammad Rajeh, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Faleh Hashem Finjan, Head of the Department of Theoretical Sciences; Dr. Alaa Mohsen Yasser, Head of the Department of Team Sports; and Dr. Luay Sami Rifaat, Secretary of the College Council.
The committees will later announce the outstanding research projects, which will be re-discussed at a later date and their authors will be honored by the College’s Deanery.
