On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the Higher Committee for Volunteer Work at the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, University of Baghdad, concluded its 2024–2025 volunteer initiatives with a visit to Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf and Mute in Baghdad. During the visit, the committee provided essential items, including gifts, clothing, and a camera system, to support the institute’s needs. The children expressed their joy and gratitude through sign language, sending their greetings and appreciation to all involved.
The director of Al-Amal Institute extended heartfelt thanks to the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, represented by Dean Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, for his continuous support and efforts to bring happiness and assistance to this vital segment of society.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting social inclusion, reducing inequalities, and fostering community engagement to support individuals with disabilities.
