The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Baghdad hosted the conclusion of the third Ramadan Quran competition, an event aimed at encouraging students to memorize the Holy Quran, perfect its recitation, and foster a competitive spirit among them. The competition witnessed widespread participation from various sectors of the University of Baghdad and was attended by University President Prof. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf and College Dean Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf. The event attracted significant interest from students, faculty, and Quran enthusiasts, with participants competing in memorization and recitation categories while demonstrating outstanding performance. This activity supports student engagement and promotes Quran memorization and recitation as a source of knowledge and guidance while aligning with sustainable development goals by enhancing quality education and cultural enrichment. Winners were honored and awards distributed in an atmosphere of joy and appreciation for the emerging young talents.
