The Individual Games Division organized a workshop titled “Sports Injuries and Prevention Methods”, attended by faculty members and students. The workshop covered various sports injuries relevant to students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and athletes in sports clubs, along with their causes.
The event aimed to raise awareness among athletes, coaches, and sports practitioners about modern prevention techniques and the correct ways to handle injuries to minimize their occurrence.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Bidaa Razzaq Jawad, Dr. Farah Issam Abdulameer, Assistant Lecturer Karam Ismail, Assistant Lecturer Marwan Mustafa, and Assistant Lecturer Shaimaa Habeeb Ali.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting good health and well-being through injury prevention education and supporting quality education by equipping students and professionals with essential sports science knowledge.
