The Iraqi Hockey Federation, under the supervision of the Asian Hockey Federation, organized a Level 1 training and officiating course at the fields and halls of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
During the event, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College, observed the practical training sessions, emphasizing that the college’s facilities are open to sports federations for hosting training programs.
The course featured international lecturers from Oman, including Thani bin Suhaim Al-Wahaibi and Khalid bin Abdulrahman Yahya, who provided expert instruction.
This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting quality education through specialized training, enhancing good health and well-being by encouraging sports participation, and fostering international partnerships in sports development.
