As part of the Visiting Professor Program, Prof. Mohsen Ali Nassif, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Baghdad, participated in a scientific visit to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Kufa. He was part of an academic delegation that included distinguished professors from Ferdowsi University in Iran.
Upon arrival, the delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Basim Hassan Al-Shamrati, along with his deputies and faculty members.
During the visit, Prof. Mohsen Ali Nassif took part in a scientific meeting that discussed ways to enhance collaboration between universities in sports education and scientific research. He also delivered a specialized lecture to postgraduate students and faculty members, focusing on the latest advancements in sports training, particularly the use of modern technology in performance analysis and sports injury rehabilitation. His insights contribute to improving athletes’ performance and strengthening their connection to public health.
Additionally, he participated in panel discussions on “Sports Genetics” and “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Football Match Management,” highlighting the importance of integrating modern technologies into sports to enhance performance and improve decision-making accuracy.
At the conclusion of the visit, Prof. Basim Hassan Al-Shamrati, the Dean of the College, praised Prof. Mohsen Ali Nassif’s contributions, expressing gratitude for his valuable scientific input. He reaffirmed the college’s commitment to hosting distinguished academics to enhance sports education and research in Iraq.
