With the presence of University of Baghdad President Prof. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, University President’s Office Director Dr. Ali Abdul Hassan, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Dean Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and University of Baghdad Student Activities Department Director Dr. Ali Sadiq Thiyab, the finals of the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship for male students continued. The tournament is hosted at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The second day’s results saw victories for the University of Baghdad over Al-Wataniya University, the University of Mosul over Al-Farahidi University, the University of Basra over the University of Anbar, the Islamic University over the University of Tikrit, Misan University over Al-Salam University College, Al-Ain University over the University of Hilla, and the University of Babylon over Al-Turath University.
This tournament supports health, education, and gender equality, promoting student engagement and sportsmanship.
