On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship for male students began at the courts of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Simultaneously, the courts of the College of Basic Education at Al-Mustansiriya University are hosting the same championship for female students.
The results of the first day’s matches for male students were as follows:
University of Baghdad defeated Al-Rafidain College (2-0).
•Al-Mustansiriya University defeated Al-Farabi College (2-0).
•Dijlah College defeated Al-Hikma College (2-1).
•University of Technology defeated Al-Mashriq College (2-0).
•Al-Salam College defeated Al-Ma’mun College (2-0).
•Middle Technical University defeated Ashur College (2-0).
The championship matches will continue on Thursday.
