The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, along with the College Council members, held a meeting to discuss the “Dream Project” of the Iraqi Football Association. The meeting was attended by Dr. Wissam Najib, Head of the Technical and Development Committee of the Association, Mr. Carlos Rodriguez, the Technical Director, and Mr. Borja Rubito, the Player Development Manager.
The discussion focused on the “Dream Project” for youth categories, under the supervision of the Iraqi Football Association, and how to utilize the college’s available infrastructure, including fields and halls, for the project. The initiative is expected to make significant advancements in the technical skills of football players in the near future. The meeting also explored the potential involvement of the college’s faculty members in supervising the project.
