Prof. Ahmad Adnan Kazem, a faculty member in the Theoretical Sciences Department, delivered a lecture to a select group of leaders and officers from the Federal Police Command/Ministry of Interior. The lecture, titled “The Future of the Current International System and the Disruption of New Leadership in the Mid-South Global Forces,” addressed the future of the current international system and the important transformations occurring in contemporary international and regional relations. It highlighted the increasing focus on areas of influence and strategic and vital interests, and their impact on Iraq’s security and the surrounding area. The lecture emphasized the significant
role that regional countries, including Iraq, could play in resolving conflicts and cooperation issues, addressing outstanding problems, and formulating future plans to ensure regional stability.
