Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad welcomed Dr. Aqeel Muftin, President of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, and Mr. Khalid Kabyan, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Sports Affairs. During the visit, they reviewed the maintenance and renovation works of the track and field stadium, praising the role of the college administration in supporting Iraqi Olympic federations. The college’s facilities host more than seven Iraqi sports federations for their daily training sessions, camps, and the organization of training and refereeing courses for these federations.
