As a part of The Theoretical Sciences Department plan, a panel discussion was held by Prof. Ammar Droush Rasheed titled “Changing Coaches and the Strategic Training Standards”. The panel discussion addressed the significance of changing coaches in clubs and national teams worldwide and how these changes affect on technical and training and psychological stability of the coaches, teams, players and the concerned federation. The panel raised questions about whether changing coaches is a strategic training tool, administrative hobby, fans hobby, or a media show aimed to create fabricated issues to distract public opinion from the real reasons behind planning and setting future goals. The discussion cited the example of English Premier League Coaches, who remain with their clubs for more than eight training seasons. The panel highlighted that when the results and performance levels decline, changing coaches becomes an easy target far removed from the basic concepts of administrative leadership.
