On Monday, April 29, 2024, A delegation of doctoral students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Al-Mustansiriya University paid a visit to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/ University of Baghdad for a special scientific visit to the Biomechanics and Sports Physiology Laboratory. The delegation was led by the head of Al-Mustansiriya University delegation, Dr. Ali Munati Ahmed, the head of the Biomechanics Committee, along with Mr. Omar Mazhar Malik and a group of doctoral students. The delegation was received by Dr. Yasser Najah Hussein, the laboratory manager in our college, and Dr. Huda Hamid Abdulhussein, a biomechanics and kinematic analysis professor. During the visit, a workshop was conducted to introduce doctoral students to the latest sports biomechanics and kinematic analysis devices in our college’s laboratory. Practical experiments were conducted on some analysis devices and cameras, allowing students the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge practically. At the end of the visit, the doctoral students expressed their deep gratitude to the College Dean, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Nazar Majid, the head of the Postgraduate Studies Department in our college, for their warm welcome. This visit represents an important step towards enhancing scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and developing scientific research in the field of physical education and sports sciences. This visit aligns with the fourth goal of sustainable development objectives.
