A doctoral thesis titled “A Proposed Model for Classification Criteria According to Administrative and Technical Indicators for Sports Clubs in Iraq” was discussed at Baghdad University’s College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The defense took place in the main discussion hall on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, along with the Vice Deans for Academic and Administrative Affairs, and a group of faculty members. The significance of the research lies in highlighting the role of sports clubs in the administrative and technical developments through modernization globally. The problem revolves around finding a method, variables, or tools to assist in classifying sports clubs in Iraq based on administrative and technical indicators. The study aims to construct a proposed scale for classification criteria according to administrative and technical indicators for sports clubs in Iraq. The research utilized a descriptive method with a survey approach, reviewing related literature and studies. The findings were analyzed and discussed scientifically to achieve the research objectives. The scale exhibited several different levels and achieved a good estimation level, indicating variation in the sample regarding the specific levels of classifying sports clubs in Iraq. The recommendations emphasize the scale as a means to classify sports clubs, utilizing modern technology and techniques to keep pace with global developments.
