Students of postgraduate studies/doctorate in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Osama Ahmed Hussein (a lecturer in training physiology) visited the College of Medicine/ University of Baghdad on Monday, April 1, 2024. This visit is a part of the collaborative effort between the university colleges to enhance scientific partnership among students. Upon their arrival, they were warmly received by Prof. Dr. Ghassan Thabit Saeed (the head of the postgraduate studies department at the College of Medicine) who accompanied them on a tour including the anatomy and tissue museum, the college museum, and the postgraduate study halls. During the visit, a scientific lecture on human body functions was presented by Prof. Dr. Ghassan, along with an introduction to the College of Medicine/ University of Baghdad, its academic curriculum, and a discussion session with the students. These scientific visits for postgraduate students in our college to the colleges of Baghdad University related to their specialization and various sciences aim to develop mutual cooperation and achieve sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 17 for scientific partnerships. This visit is the second of its kind, following a previous visit by master’s students to the College of Medicine.
