On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, a twinning and mutual cooperation agreement was signed between the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, represented by Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalef, the dean of the college, and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-nukhba University College. The agreement was signed in the presence of Mr. Mohammad Abdulhussain, the assistant dean for academic affairs, and members of the faculty council of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, as well as members of the twinning committee at the college from the other side, such as Dr. Furqad Ata Raouf from Elite University College, who serves as the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. This agreement is part of a series of agreements signed with private universities and colleges, reflecting the desire of both parties to expand mutual cooperation in academic fields, elevate academic and research standards, and cover various aspects such as teaching, scientific research, student activities, administrative and functional development, and financial matters
