The dean of physical education and sport Sciences College/ university of Baghdad, professor Dr. Sabah Qasem met the representative of FutbolClub Barcelona, Mr. Saleem Meqati, and Mr. Hussein Naji, Academy Coordinator on Wednesday 2/8/2023. Attending the meeting was Prof. Dr. Loay Sami Refat, head of theoretical sciences department, Dr. Wesam Neheeb Slewa, manager of the technical and developmentcommittee in Iraqi football association, Dr. FariqAbdulla Hezaa, president of the Iraqi Rugby federation, and Dr. Hussein Khumais. During the meeting a memorandum of understanding was proposed so as to develop the sport in Iraq as well as providing future mutual collaborations.
