The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad held an educational lecture for its faculty members on using the eduba online platform, which is dedicated to continuous training and professional development. The initiative aimed to strengthen faculty members’ skills and enhance their capabilities in online education and training.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hussein, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, introduced the importance of the eduba platform, while Assistant Lecturer Maab Fathi Hamza, Head of the College’s Information Technology Unit, explained the registration process, management of training programs, and use of the educational resources available through the platform. The lecture also highlighted the platform’s key features in supporting continuous professional development and helping faculty members keep pace with technological advances in university education.
The lecture featured active participation, with attendees raising questions and discussing potential challenges associated with using the platform. Guidance and practical solutions were provided to ensure effective use of its resources.
The lecture forms part of the College’s ongoing activities aimed at promoting a culture of lifelong learning and utilizing modern technologies to improve academic and administrative performance, in line with the University of Baghdad’s digital transformation initiatives and commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education.
