The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad hosted a training session for the Iraqi Women’s Youth Football Team, in the presence of the College Dean, Prof. Dr. Sabah Khalaf, and Assist. Prof. Sabreen Hamed, a member of the Executive Office of the Iraqi Football Association. The initiative reflects the College’s support for national teams and its commitment to providing suitable training environments for Iraqi sports teams.
The training sessions featured the participation of the national team players under the supervision of the technical and coaching staff. The players benefited from the College’s sports facilities and resources, contributing to a professional and supportive training environment.
The hosting initiative reaffirms the role of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in supporting Iraqi sports and national teams, strengthening cooperation with sports federations and institutions, and contributing to the development of young players and the identification of promising sporting talent.
The College administration reaffirmed its continued commitment to supporting national teams and sports squads and making its facilities and resources available to serve Iraqi sport and strengthen its presence at both the national and international levels.
