The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, participated in the 2nd International Scientific Conference on Sports Sciences, held at University of Karbala under the theme: “Through Knowledge and Science, We Advance Modern Sports.”
As Head of the Committee of Deans of Physical Education Colleges in Iraq, he delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of applying scientific knowledge and modern technologies to enhance sports sciences and improve both academic and athletic performance.
He praised the organizers for their efforts and highlighted the value of such conferences in advancing research and collaboration. On the sidelines, he was honored with a commemorative shield, while several faculty members from the college also participated with scientific research contributions.
