Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the college organized a large-scale cleaning and tree-planting campaign aimed at improving the campus environment and providing a more suitable atmosphere for students.
The campaign included cleaning open areas and pathways, removing waste, and preparing land for the development of new sports facilities. Trees and greenery were introduced in several locations across the college to expand green spaces and enhance the campus’s aesthetic appeal.
In addition, several sites were prepared for the construction of new sports fields, supporting student athletic and recreational activities and providing modern facilities for various sporting events.
The college administration emphasized that such initiatives reflect its ongoing commitment to infrastructure development and environmental improvement, while promoting a sustainable and student-friendly campus.
