The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad hosted the Olympic Day Festival, with broad participation from athletes and presidents of sports federations. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and the President of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, Dr. Aqeel Muftin, in an atmosphere that reflected the values and mission of the Olympic Movement in promoting sport and healthy lifestyles.
The festival featured a variety of sporting activities and events aimed at fostering fair competition, cooperation, and teamwork among participants. It also highlighted the important role of sport in community development and youth empowerment through activities organized by the participating sports federations.
