A faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, Dr. Baha’a Al-Din Ali Raheem, participated in the West and Central Asia Under-14 Tennis Championship, held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, in his capacity as coach of the Iraqi national tennis team.
The Iraqi team delivered an outstanding performance during the البطولة, securing second place in the singles competition and claiming first place in the doubles event. This achievement reflects the high technical level of the players and the effectiveness of the preparation and training programs implemented by the coaching staff.
This success is the result of sustained efforts by both coaches and players throughout the preparation period, in addition to the support provided by relevant sports authorities, contributing to raising Iraq’s profile in Asian tennis competitions.
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences extends its warm congratulations to Dr. Baha’a Al-Din Ali Raheem and the Iraqi national tennis team, wishing them continued success and further achievements in future events.
