The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad held an official ceremony in the presence of faculty members and staff to celebrate its achievement of first place in the Iraqi ranking of scientific departments for 2025. This accomplishment reflects the significant efforts made by the college administration and all its members.
The event was marked by a strong sense of pride and appreciation, with recognition given to the vital role played by faculty and staff in advancing the academic and administrative standards of the college through teamwork and commitment to institutional accreditation requirements and national quality standards.
During the ceremony, the Dean, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing that securing first place is the result of strategic planning, continuous collective effort, and adherence to quality and accreditation standards. He also praised the dedication of the college members in achieving this success.
The Dean further noted that this distinction serves as a motivation to continue academic and administrative development, enhance educational and research programs, and maintain the college’s leading position among its counterparts in Iraq.
