Under the patronage of Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized a training workshop titled “Promoting Life Skills Culture… Your Safety Is Your Responsibility” on October 29–30, 2025. The event was supervised by Asst. Prof. Fatima Hameed Kzar, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the College of Medicine, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, the University Health Division, and the University Activities Unit.
The workshop featured two main components: a practical segment covering swimming basics and first aid applications, and a theoretical segment including lectures on general first aid principles, eye injury prevention, emergency medical response, and preventive dental care.
The workshop aimed to enhance health and safety awareness, develop essential life skills, and foster a culture of physical and psychological well-being within a safe university environment.
