Under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Baghdad, the College’s Committee for Volunteer Work and Community Service, in collaboration with faculty and staff, organized a volunteer campaign to the Childhood Orphanage in Al-Salihiya. The initiative provided clothing for all children aged one month to six years, along with various gifts and toys for both boys and girls.
This campaign is part of a series of diverse volunteer initiatives undertaken by the committee to support different segments of society. Such efforts align with the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting social inclusion, reducing inequalities, and enhancing community solidarity through active civic engagement.
