On Monday, December 16, 2024, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, represented by the Dean, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and the College Council members, hosted 20 athletes with global and regional titles and medals in various sports, including swimming, weightlifting, badminton, and tennis. The event, supervised by Dr. Ahlam Shughati, was organized by the College’s Volunteer Work Committee.

The visit aimed to provide a recreational tour of the college’s sports halls. It began with a visit to the fencing hall, where a brief presentation on fencing swords was delivered. The tour continued to the boxing hall, featuring a technical boxing demonstration, followed by stops at the wrestling, squash, weightlifting, and gymnastics halls.

The event concluded with the distribution of gifts and various sports equipment, presented by the Dean, College Council members, and PhD students.
