The Department of Theoretical Sciences held a workshop titled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Sports Management,” attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Thamer Hammad Rijah, Dr. Suhair Mutib, and fourth-year students.
The workshop emphasized the significant role of AI in sports management, particularly in assisting with the precise analysis of players’ and teams’ performance. These applications enable the processing of performance-related data, allowing coaches to understand strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, AI can be utilized to predict outcomes based on previous results and data.
The workshop aimed to demonstrate how sports teams and coaches can develop effective strategies that enhance the efficiency of sports management, making AI a valuable tool in the world of sports.
